3D modeling and texturing




Problems! First off, I've updated his proportional height, and he should be 8 heads now. I mean, I did go ahead and stretch his legs so that the markers hit their marks. But for some reason, when I performed the 'zoom all' action and measured on-screen, he still disproportionate. I'm gonna have to investigate further...






Second problem, I also started to refine his ears, and would have finished, except I've discovered that I don't have enough polygons to work with in his ears! I'm not sure what to do, as I don't want to have to subdivide the model again since he's already on about his third or fourth subdivision, which translates into a LOT of polygons. The closer you look, the more glaringly ugly it gets! I'm gonna have to figure out how I can get more refinement or more polys just in the local area...








The only upside to this update is that I made a turntable movie for everyone to see the model in all his 3d glory! It's a Quicktime file, so feel free to grab the slider and revolve at your own will!!
